Twin Gums Caravan Park is a tranquil, well-shaded retreat located at the southern entrance of Nanango in the South Burnett region. Now family-owned and operated by Cassidy and Mick McCullagh, the park has received a fresh start while maintaining its reputation for relaxed country charm and a supportive community atmosphere. Whether you are a “grey nomad” passing through or looking for a safe, respectful place to put down roots, Twin Gums offers a blend of short-term tourist sites and long-term accommodation options.
Accommodation & Site Options
The park is designed with a flat entry and easy-to-navigate grounds to accommodate a variety of travelers:
- Overnight Powered Sites: Choose from grassy or concrete slab sites featuring power and water hookups for caravans and motorhomes.
- Unpowered Camping: Grassy sites are available for self-sufficient travelers in tents or camper trailers.
- Permanent Accommodation: For those staying six weeks or longer, the park offers permanent powered sites and permanent cabins. Note: Cabins are currently reserved for long-term residents and are not available for short-term stays.

- Amenities Block: Features clean hot showers and toilets with accessible paths specifically designed for wheelchair comfort.
- Camp Kitchen: A fully equipped communal space featuring BBQs, sinks, and ample seating for social gatherings.
- Laundry Facilities: On-site washing machines, dryers, and outdoor clotheslines are available for all guests.
- Dump Point: Free for registered guests, with a $5.00 fee for passing travelers.
- Pet Friendly: Well-behaved pets are welcome on-site following management approval.
