Crane Wines Bed & Breakfast is located 8.5km north-west of Kingaroy
on the slopes of the Booie Range. This charming four room B&B occupies
the right-hand wing of historic Crane Homestead (built in 1905) and is very
close to Crane Wines' cellar door, but separated from it by a private courtyard
and garden.
Crane Wines B&B is owned by Bernie and Judy Cooper. It
offers either bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast
facilities for guests, and it has two double bedrooms; a combined
lounge/kitchenette area equipped with a small fridge, microwave, electric
frypan, toaster, tea & coffee making facilities and dining table; and
a lounge with a TV and a record/CD/DVD player, along with a modern
bathroom. An iron and ironing board are also supplied, as well as a hair
dryer and a range of home-made luxury toiletries.
All the rooms are furnished in keeping with the age of the house and feature
many beautiful antiques which have been in Judy's family for generations.
Both bedrooms also have access to a private balcony with sweeping
views across the surrounding countryside.
The B&B can accommodate up to four adults and dual bookings (ie
two couples who don't know each other) aren't taken to ensure guest
privacy. In addition - because the B&B is in a working winery - no children
or pets are allowed.
Crane Wines Bed & Breakfast's current tariffs are $150 per night
for one couple or $270 per night for two couples (minimum stay two
nights on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, or three nights at Easter) . But
they also offer mid-week stays of 3 nights for the price of 2
on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - public holidays excluded).
You can make a booking by phoning or emailing them, or find additional details
about the B&B's extensive range of options on their website (see Crane
Wines' contact details below).
